Privacy Policy
This policy explains what StockLibs (stocklibs.com) collects, how we use it and how we protect it. We follow applicable law and collect as little as possible.
1. What we collect
(a) Account data: email address and password (stored only as an irreversible hash). (b) Usage data: searches, pages viewed, watchlists, screener and formula calls, points ledger. (c) Device and logs: IP address and browser identifier, for security and troubleshooting. (d) Order data: order number, amount, currency, payment channel and payment status.
2. Payment information
Payments are processed by a third-party provider (such as Stripe). We **never receive or store** your card number or full payment credentials — only the result (success, amount, channel transaction id), which we use to grant access and reconcile accounts.
3. Why we use it
To provide the service and memberships, process orders and refunds, support you, prevent abuse and fraud, and measure and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember language and theme preferences, plus first-party analytics to understand page usage. You can clear them in your browser (you will be signed out).
5. Third parties
To run the service we share necessary information with payment providers, cloud and object storage, email/notification providers and AI model providers (used for news translation and the AI assistant). They process data under their own privacy policies.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. After deletion we keep order and risk-control records only as long as legal and financial compliance requires, and delete or anonymise the rest.
7. Your rights
You can access and correct your account data, request deletion, or ask how we process your information. Use the in-site message centre or the footer email and we will respond within a reasonable period.
8. Transfers and minors
Our servers and some providers may be located in Hong Kong or abroad; we require processors to apply appropriate safeguards. The Site is not intended for children under 16, and we will delete information from such accounts if we find them.
